In the adjacent square every day there is a beautifull food market and every sunday, just on the ather side of Tevere there is the big and famous Porta Portese market. The apartment was the perfect size for a couple and in a fantastic location in the Testaccio neighborhood. This neighborhood felt less touristy, while still being a close walk to the popular sites. We trained from FCO direct to Ostiense station and walked straight to the apartment (\~15 minutes). Trastevere is a 10-15 minute walk and Historic Rome (Colosseum) was about 30 minutes. We used the bus station around the corner to easily get to city center. The food in the neighborhood was delicious and reasonably priced as well. The apartment itself was very clean and the AC worked really well (it was 90-100°F when in Rome). The hosts were VERY communicative and friendly throughout our stay. Loredana is always ready to help you. The apartment was super clean and it was really comfortable. In addition, it was near to the center or any bus stop.
