“Très bon accueil de la part de nos hôtes. Gîte fonctionnel et adéquat au milieu d’un paysage magnifique. Cuisine équipée avec tout le nécessaire. Pièce de vie agréable dotée d’une grande terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte car nous y avons passer une super semaine.”

“The accommodation was a fully furnished flat in a new block. It was well-equipped and very comfortable. The flats were not serviced but this was not a problem as we only stayed for 3 nights. The building seems to be a 'Seniors' block of flats with a few flats used as holiday lets but don't let that put you off as it is very comfortable and affordable and is just a short 5 to 10 minute slightly uphill walk to the walled town.”

“Pour nous, ce n'était qu'un endroit pour dormir. Ça a bien rempli le job. Bonne literie, propre. Je ne peux pas donner d'avis sur le reste, nous n'avons utilisé que le lit et la douche. ”

“We stayed in Richard's property for a week-end to celebrate a 60th birthday. We had wanted to visit Carcassonne for a long time - the area, and the accommodation, were perfect, and we enjoyed interesting conversations with Richard, who also recommended an excellent restaurant ten minutes' walk away. The apartment is very quiet: all we could hear from the terrace in the evening was the river and water birds; but at the same time it is a short walk up to the mediaeval citadel in one direction, and……

“A lovely, cosy little oasis hidden in the back streets of the town, but just a 5 min walk to the heart of Bastide Saint Louis, and only 20 mins walk to the medieval Cite. Rooms nicely decorated, apartment very clean and well kept, kitchen well supplied, and with an excellent shower! Two supermarkets within 5 mins walk too, which we found very helpful. Recommended.”

“This house is located perfectly in Carcassonne in the city center and close to the fortress. The accomodation is spread over a couple of floors and was relatively cool despite the heat wave (over 40 degrees) in the city, also thanks to the fans provided.Minor drawback: Arriving 15 min after check-in time, the cleaning staff still needed 15 min. Luckily, they allowed us to drop our luggage, so we did not have to return with the car in the very narrow street. The nearby car park Gambetta can be……
