“We were debating if we wanted to pay extra for this vs a hotel, but it turned out to be so nice. It was very private, and had a great view of the shore (it looks sideways down the beach so you can't see out to sea, but can see water). No beach access though unfortunately. We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was the perfect size for us. It's within a 15-20 minute walk from downtown Friday harbor, which was nice because we couldn't always get an Uber in time for what we needed. We also saw……

“While the property is peaceful and quiet, just minutes away there are so many fun, interesting things to do. We’ve stayed on several of the San Juan Islands, but San Juan Island itself is much more slow paced than most. The house has a beautiful, tranquil view, and the bed is extremely comfortable (and I am picky). We were on the island early and were thrilled to get a text message saying that the house was ready early (3 hours) and we were welcome to come anytime. The one recommendation I would……

“The house was amazing, and super comfortable. The drive in takes a little longer than you might expect, as it’s 10-15MPH on gravel roads. But once you get there, the views are amazing. It’s about 10 minutes from Eastsound, and very close to the park and Mt Constitution. ”

“Grant is a lovely and attentive host. All of us enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Beautiful scene and setting, all necessary amenities, comfortable beds and a very fun vibe. Highly recommend!”

“Simple yet very nice place on the island. Amazing views from the deck. Was very comfortable for a family of 4 and there was room for one more near the loft. We enjoyed our stay. Just hope the find time to repair the stairs (damaged from weather) so it’s easier to access the beach.”

“We love spending time as a family on Lopez Island and Rich and Amy’s place makes that possible. It’s more suited to families with children than 7 adults. Only one bedroom has a closet where it’s possible to hand clothes and one other has a dresser. We stayed 8 days living out of suitcases. The bathrooms are ok and functional, and the kitchen is small but well stocked. The deck is spacious and the distant view is lovely.
