“We had a wonderful stay at the Deer Harbor Inn lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Orcas Island. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy! Perfect after a jam-packed day of hosting activities for our friends, from Deer Harbor marina to Eastsound, and ending with the best brisket ever at Matthews Smokehouse just across from the lodge. We enjoyed peaceful, quiet evenings and fresh air through open windows all night. Very convenient location when arriving by ferry and……

“It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. ”

“Our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights as we explored the San Juan Islands. The Marina Inn is very cozy, and we were welcomed by the friendliest front desk woman. The room was very clean. They serve a continental breakfast that includes mostly muffins/pastries/bagels. There is yogurt and hard boiled eggs, but if you are gluten free or are looking for more protein choices, I would plan ahead. It is about 15-17 minutes from the ferry terminal and not too far from Deception Pass State Park. Overall,……

“The room was spectacular! Clean, comfy, quiet, and nicely decorated. There were also special touches such as robes and slippers, eye masks and ear plugs (which we didn't need) for sleeping, plenty of coffee and hot chocolate. The staff was informative and helpful with great ideas of things to do and restaurant ideas. It was a good location, not to far from town to walk (about a mile). I would definitely stay here again.”

“Our overall experience was great. While the decor and general vibe are straight out of the '80s (as you can see from the pictures), everything else was fine. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. For around $100 a night, you get a microwave, a fridge, and they even provide breakfast—so there's nothing to complain about.”
