“The hotel is full of heritage, dating back to the mid 19th century. Both the building and its interior are fascinating, with relaxing colors that create a peaceful and stress-free atmosphere. We stayed for just one night during our long motorcycle trip, so unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the additional services the hotel has to offer. Our room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing - exactly what we needed after several days on the road.……

“Its a very traditional, older chalet and amenities are in line with older style places. The staff were faultless, helpful, courteous and tolerant of our coming and going. Its a hike to get there but the free railway, if you have the time, saves on cab fares. Food is fresh and its very popular for dinner with everyone in town and the views are terrific.. Thanks especially to Tebo for looking after us but they were all great. ”

“Location can’t be beat- right on the square, Hotel is charming with very friendly and helpful staff. The only problem is with the charm of an old building comes the lack of modern conveniences- namely air conditioning. No hotel on the square will have a.c, thought, and the room does have a fan to help, so it is manageable.”

“Staff was extremely helpful in orienting us to the area and where free parking could be found. We we upgraded to a very nice lakefront room with a balcony. The buffet breakfast was also very nice. Beautiful sunset from the balcony.”

“Absolutely amazing location. 5 minutes walk from the station and lake Geneva is around the corner. Great base to explore Montreux on public transport as well using the montreux riviera card. Staff spoke good English and property was kept in great condition. Only downside was that the rooms didn’t have AC, but the windows opened very wide and a fan was provided so the summer heat was not a problem.”
