“The owner was very nice and helpful..it was a good place to stay for a couple nights..it was clean...the frigerator worked good..also the air conditioning..the bar/ restaurant next door had really good food..also a diner at the gas station next door has good food”

“The room was clean, hotel and room had a very nice smell. The pool and hot tub were clean and the good hot soak was nice. The shower needed some grout work, but other then that the bathroom was decent. The TVs are small for the size of the room, living area and separate room for sleeping, and the bed/pillows where on uncomfortable hard side. To put into perspective, the night before my stay here I was sleeping on an air mattress, in a tent, in a state park and my smartwatch gave me a sleep score……

“The room was ok. Checked in at 9pm. Hotel worker was next door at the days inn working as well so had to wait 10 minutes for her to show up. Room was very sticky and humid. Says breakfast buffet included but definitely not a buffet. No hot food besides waffles. Coffee is horrible. Parking is very tight for a pickup. For $125/night you think it would be a little better.”

“The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very soft. However, the room was not the cleanest. The floor was stained, the window curtains were stained and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Won’t be staying here again. I didn’t get a picture of the shower curtain.”

“The staff at Lakes Inn at Dunvilla is the epitome of Minnesota nice. I have never had such friendly and helpful treatment as was experienced during an overnight stay. We travelled through some scary weather on a rainy night to get there, arriving several hours later than planned. The night clerk was waiting at the door with a luggage cart ready for me, and a request to use the hot tub for a quick soak to ease my sore shoulders was generously given. The room was large and well designed. ……
