“Tout était nickel”

“The location and the communication/direction/check-in was excellent. The apartment itself was not exactly as indicated. There were no doors - except the entry door. The stairway to the downstairs was treacherous, and there was a window from the bathtub to the living area. There was no bathroom door, & if you are more than 5'07 in height, expect to duck - or you will hit your head multiple times during the night. (We absolutely struck our head 2 or 3 times before muscle memory clicked in). ……

“Vaisselle sale, couverts sales, pas assez d'équipement de base : pas de spatule, pas de couteau qui coupe, pas de couteau à dent, un couteau dangereux avec le manche à moitié cassé... il devait y avoir une bouilloire qui était en fait cassée au fond du placard à blais ; j'en ai demandé une autre dès le samedi matin, en vain. Avant d'arriver j'ai demandé s'il s'agissait d'un grand ou petit frigo, pour calibrer les courses, la conciergerie ne sait pas... Bref, conciergerie non réactive qui préfère……

“We really enjoyed the apartment. It was very stylish.There was a boulangerie, fromagerie and boucher just a minute away. All excellent.the Musee de Beaux Arts was a 5 minute walk away… the Cathedral a 15 minute walk away… the train station likewise. Lots of shopping, cafes and restaurants.Yes, we really liked the apartment but just a couple of comments…Most importantly…The lock at the entry door to the apartment was a nightmare.The 66 stairs to the apartment were very taxing.We were OK with the……

It's in a great location, within easy walking distance of the cathedral and Rouen's beautiful historic centre. We visited during a heat wave, and the fans in every room were an absolute lifesaver, making the apartment much more comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it.”
