“We stayed one night in the glass igloo during autumn, so the SnowHotel was still under construction and, according to one of the staff, set to reopen in a few weeks. Even so, the experience was lovely and memorable. The igloo was cozy and warm, though a bit tight for three people. At night, we didn’t get to see the northern lights or stars, but the view of the moon and quiet Arctic sky was peaceful in its own way. The pop-up ice bar was a fun surprise — I had a lingonberry gin there and it was……

“The rooms were clean, new and spacious. The glass ceilings were perfect for seeing the sky. What stood out thr most was the attentives staff. They were incredibly friendly and responsive and made sure we had everytbing we wanted, even if it was some food for the reindeer late at night”

“The service provided was good and the chalet was absolutely wonderful. Parking was free and close to the chalet. If you have a car it’s only a few minutes away from Santa’s village and the city of Rovaniemi. Taxis are readily available for those who prefer that. Provided the sky is clear you’ll likely see a lot of aurora borealis. Bring warm clothes, because the temperature was between -10 and -29 celsius during our stay.”

“The hotel was situated on top of the hill, and we really loved the landscape around the hotel. A lot of trees and a lot of snow with few people. But there were no nearby bus stops, so transportation was quite inconvenient. Taxi to the city centre for 6 people was 46Euros. But since we expected this when we booked this hotel, we have booked tour with hotel pick up most of the time, so it was not that big of a problem for us. Staff were friendly, food at the restaurant was good. Room was small……

“Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa. Os funcionários são gentis e atenciosos. O quarto foi confortável e tudo funcionou perfeitamente. O hotel é apenas 17 km de Rovaniemi por uma estrada bem tranquila. O estacionamento é espaçoso e o hotel está numa localidade linda. Os jantares que tivemos feitos pelo cozinheiro Tamer foram especiais! Muito obrigada pelo acolhimento!”
