"Beautiful location right by the lake. The apartment is tastefully furnished with great amenities, and the host’s communication was excellent. Plenty of fantastic food options nearby as well. The only minor downside was the kitchen lighting (a bit dim) and the number of unused light switches, which made it tricky to figure out which ones actually worked."

"My husband was ill the day we arrived - and during a holiday, of course - but Frau Soer was able to contact a local doctor for us. She also fixed her healthy porridge for my husband - she and her husband are both so kind and helpful. The village is small, but has several nice restaurants, and many beautiful walking trails. "My family stayed here for 2 nights during a 2 and a 1/2 week vacation. It was a highlight of our trip. The hotel buffet breakfast was amazing, probably the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The staff were amazing as well. The food at the restaurant was top notch. The only downside is that there is no elevator in the building. But don’t let that deter you, the rest of the hotel more than makes up for it. The location is also great, close to everything- food, train, bus stop, and a great view of Hohes Castle."
