I have never had a more uncomfortable night at a hotel in my life. I know the UK is having a heat wave, but adding a cheap fan that moved less air than I could with a folded piece of paper does not constitute a decent attempt to keep guests cool. The attached pub didn't have any food, which was the main reason for booking there in the first place. Frankly I won't be staying at Premier Inn again is if this is the way they treat their guests.
