"Starting with arrival - this hotel was “difficult”. Difficult to locate using Google Maps, parking was off-site (about a block away and unsecured). Our room was on the second floor - not only was there no elevator, but the stairs were literally from another century - stone, worn uneven with time. Absolutely no help with our bags. Did I mention it was complicated with pouring rain? Yeah, the “lobby” of this hotel is open-air, so the floors were puddles of water, steps were wet - well- they were outside! It was a relief to get inside of the room. The room itself was fine, comfortable enough, nice bathroom, but for me the inconveniences of this place outweighed the positives. There was a continental breakfast included which was nice, nothing special. You need to ask for your cappuccino to be “caldo” or it will come room temperature. The staff was pleasant enough - absolutely no complaints. We actually ended up checking out a day early! I definitely will be looking for another option next time we’re in the Maglie area. No value here based on the price. "

"This is a lovely hotel for relaxing & enjoying peace & tranquility of Salento The rooms are spacious lovely & super comfy beds & well cleaned every day The restaurant has a daily menu & food is great quality, my wife is Vegan and the staff & Chef made dinners for her every night!! The staff are absolutely awesome! "What a wonderful villa and great hospitality, thoroughly recommend a stay at this very special place. Ideal for touring the Salento region but also perfect for a day enjoying the super swimming pool and the trulli whirlpool then enjoy a delicious supper cooked by the villa’s private chefs. "

"We stayed with extended family for a week at Vincenzo’s place. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. The place was very clean and thee outside areas were wonderful. We had one. Or two problems with the water and pool during our stay but our hosts responded and put things right quickly. Two minor negatives for us. The lack of kitchen equipment (there were 9 in our party but minimal bowls, lack of serving spoons, sharp knives, chopping board etc.). Also we found the beds to be hard and some hat uncomfortable. This could be personal taste.The town was very quiet but we managed to find a few places to eat. Bubba restaurant was particularly good."
