Awesome location, friendly deer around!

Awesome location! High above the town of Ruidoso but a convenient 10-15 drive away, the condos have a superb view of Sierra Blanca and the surrounding mountains. It is an old property - bathroom fitting and kitchen appliances are dated but we did not have any issues. Tastefully decorated with hardwood floors and that awesome view. Friendly deer around the property. We planned to stay one night only, but I to extend by one more because of how nice the location was. Friendly and courteous staff.

Property in bad condition

The property is in a beautiful location surrounded by beautiful views. Unfortunately, the property condos are in need of major renovations. Everything is outdated. The pictures advertised no longer tell a true overview of the condos.

No central heating and cooling

The place has amazing views but it does need a lot of TLC. Especially the bathrooms. The neighbors are loud and there place could use some cleaning up so condos don’t look so dirty. THE PLACE DOES NOT HAVE CENTRAL HEATING and COOLING. I wish I would have known this before booking.

A nice location but not very clean or maintained

A beautiful location with a wonderful view. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. I do not feel confident that best practices in cleaning in light of the pandemic are used at this property. For example, there was a dirty sock hanging on the door to one of the bedrooms left over from the previous guests. I felt worried about contamination from housekeeping and previous guests throughout our stay. The owner/manager was very nice and upgraded us to a larger unit, which was appreciated. The units are old and there were many broken tiles, broken shelves in the refrigerator, and older fixtures throughout. It was reasonably priced and the location was beautiful. We will probably not stay there again due to the housekeeping, however.

Very disappointed

The condo was clean, but the furnishings were ere old and in terrible condition. The bedding and towels were old and worn. The bathrooms were mildewed the jacuzzi tub dated and the jets looked rusted we do not use them because of the condition. They had one Small TV with remote controls that did not work, with only one channel to watch. The view of the mountains were beautiful however the property was poorly maintained. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend it. We will not return.

Disappointed...But the View is Spectacular!

The view was spectacular BUT we were sadly disappointed that the cleanliness of the unit was not good. We found possible mice droppings/tiny bugs on the kitchen counter and window sill. The bed sheets didn't look new. It looked like the covers were just pulled over to look like they were replaced. The screen door to the balcony was broken and was not returned back on the rails. My husband attempted to place it back on the rails but was not successful. The fixtures were out dated. The ceiling fans were wobbly. The jetted tub did not look clean. The jets had mineral deposit and the grout around the tub had evidence of mold/mildew. My husband and I were sadly disappointed and drove back home (3 hour drive). Until the owner of this property updates its units, my husband and I would not recommend this place at this time. We paid $200 for a 20 minute view of the mountains from the balcony of this unit. A request for a refund is pending...
