“The Retreat at Candler’s Mountain is exactly as represented on the website. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The area is very near everything you’d need in Lynchburg, but feels secluded and is extremely peaceful. The hosts anticipated all the information we would need regarding the rental, including advising us of an internet outage before we were even aware it was out.I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Liberty University and the Lynchburg area.”

“Amenities in the house, beautiful surroundings, responsive host. Great stay overall. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! The owners were attentive, responsive, and timely with all communication, making everything easy from start to finish. The house was absolutely adorable, and the décor was so cute and welcoming. It felt cozy, clean, and thoughtfully put together. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming place to stay!”

“This hotel has excellent customer attention. My room was spacious and extraordinarily clean.”

“It was overall a nice place to stay. It was right next to the highway and was loud all night. I know that’s beyond the control of the staff. But was a bit distracting.”
