Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. “My husband and I had an incredible stay at Chateau De Ferrand! We stayed for only one night and the room, food, wine, and hospitality were out of this world! We wish we could have stayed longer. Balthazar and Elliot were very attentive, kind, and even gave us recommendations for the next stop on our trip. The views of the vineyards were lovely and it was quiet and serene. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it!”

Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay, what a wonderful place. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed. Our hosts were welcoming and between us we managed some good conversations with our shared knowledge of French & English. The pool was very welcomed after a hot day and the glass of rose wine enjoyed after our swim was delightful. Our hosts very kindly booked us a table at a nearby restaurant and gave us a map to help us find it. We slept brilliantly and woke the next day to a delicious……
