Perfect for a small family getaway with older kids. Common area where family can talk together. Enjoyed the apartment feel rather than a hotel. In a great location close to restaurants and shops.

This is not a 5 star hotel. We have stayed at 5 star hotels around the world and this is not comparable, so if you choose this hotel, lower your expectations for a 3.5 star hotel. The rooms are tiny, the beds are not true queens/doubles, and the bathrooms are even smaller—take one step in and one step out. The AC is extremely loud, I don’t know how people sleep with it on. Fresh towels come worn out and one even had holes.. I mean, what is going on? We ordered in room dining for one night, also terrible (how can they mess up simple pasta, I don’t understand). I wish I didn’t have such negative things to say, but our minds are blown by how disappointing of a hotel this is. The only thing deserving of 5 stars is the location, which is unbeatable. But the price and five star status do not match the experience. Sure, everyone is taking pictures of the hotel, it’s on every postcard and magnet, and it has impressive history—but to stay there for multiple nights and to pay a 5 star hotel price? I would highly recommend you find something else; you can always take a picture of the hotel from the outside, which is the much better view.
