- The Residence: Renaissance of the Navirotel
Carved into the rock of the Trayas on the Golden Corniche in 1936, the NAVIROTEL is like a ship entering the sea.
Born from the imagination of its architect Mr. HAZEBROUCP, original in the shape of a ship whose prow hugs the shores of the Mediterranean, this building quickly became famous and attracted an elegant clientele.
Housed in 40 rooms, guests could benefit from a restaurant, a suspended swimming pool, a promenade deck, a solarium, a boat garage and a dining room described as stratospheric.
Resolutely innovative design, the NAVIROTEL embodies all that the French Riviera could offer in vast and harmonious horizons.
At the time, it magnified the free, healthy and happy life in the open air of the sea in the middle of nature.
On August 20, 1939, the war put an end to this remarkable prosperity. During the war, it became a military hospital.
It reopened its doors in 1948 to the delight of holidaymakers as one of the most beautiful hotel places for more than 3 decades.
The navirotel bridge and its swimming pool were a mecca for evenings on the French Riviera during the Roaring Twenties.
Today, and after 20 months of very important work, the residence has been given a makeover to reveal a new white building, with elegant curves, with pleasure gardens and a magnificent infinity pool overlooking the sea.
The residence has a parking lot with closed gate located 150 meters from the residence accessible by badge.
