De schoonmaal liet erg te wensen over: afwasmachine was niet uitgeruims; de wasmachine zat nog vol met nat wasgoed - bizar. Als het regende lekte het dak, zodat de badkamervloer nat werd. "This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. It’s about an hour to La Rochelle and in east reach of many delightful villages. Highly recommended"

"We booked 2 rooms but the automated system only gave us 1 at check in so we had to see the lady at reception after 5pm to get the second one. It is a Poor and confusing digital system. Also the location of the hotel is not helpful for access to restaurants in the evening. ( your own food offering was limited) We had a long walk round a busy unsafe road, or had to drive into the city."
