"It’s an old building… with an overgrown garden like an haunted mansion. First impression was to run… seemed like a horror movie set. Old furniture with dantesque paintings in this dark manor. BUT… we stayed as was only a motorway stop. Dinner was in the middle of the garden… and food was AMAZING. Room was super specious and super clean… with all the accessories. Breakfast was generous and well presented in a room from 1830!! Great value for money… and super well connected to lovely locations...

"J'ai passé un excellent séjour. Magnifique chambre avec du linge de lit de qualité. Le dîner était exquis. Le petit-déjeuner était également très copieux, avec des produits locaux et des plats faits maison. Le spa était un vrai moment de détente. La maîtresse de maison est chaleureuse et professionnelle. En résumé, un vrai coup de cœur! "

"Chambre top, confortable avec grand écran, wifi"

"Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great restaurant"

"Pros: Très bon accueil de notre hôte Christelle, aimable, souriante, disponible et attentionnée, elle fait tout pour que ses invités passent un excellent séjour et c'est parfaitement réussi, un grand merci à elle ! Le gîte est dans un cadre bucolique, reposant, aucune nuisance sonore, les nuits sont reposantes, la literie confortable et les lieux propres. La cerise sur le gâteau : le spa pour passer un moment de pure détente, on en ressort zen et relaxé. C'était parfait !"

"Excellent stay in a lovely place with a wonderful breakfast"

"All very good"

"A lovely place and room for our stopover on the way back from SW France. Olivier and Bruno were very helpful and a good breakfast included. Would totally recommend."

"This is a real gem in a small town of Azay-le-Rideau. Beautiful castle nearby. Great dining options. The manager helped with reservations."

"Amazing stay and staff ! Best hotel in Loire Valley"

"Beautiful property."

"The hotel lived up to our expectations and was ideal as a centre from which to tour that part of France. The one small drawback was that it was a little out of the centre of Azay-le-Rideau to which it took a good 15 minutes to walk."

"The property is amazing and the staff was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here, the gardens are not in the picture and it’s another part of the property worth exploring!"

"Great staff and service. Walking distance from Castle."

"A fabulous building and site, which will be first class once they spend a few million on it. In the meantime it has well-refurbished rooms, excellent pool area and was a pleasure to stay. One downside - they do not have a restaurant, although they do have a range of pre-prepared meals they will heat up and serve to you."

"Excellent value for money, no complaints at all. We've paid a lot more for much poorer quality accommodation. Would definitely stay here again."

"Clean room, friendly staff, free parking, yummy breakfast."

"Good location good places to eat and fuel"

"Phenomenal stay out on the country. Superb dinners, too. A transcendent experience out in the country. Thank you! Merci!"
