He showed us our room before we paid and told us, that his wife and himself are redoing all the rooms as funds are available. All the safety items are in place. I was in town for my 50th high school reunion, and the Fairfield Inn was a great place to stay. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and handed a candy bar and water, which were just perfect after a long drive and greatly appreciated. My room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and the coffee were good, and I had an opportunity to chat with some of my classmates who were also staying at the Fairfield Inn. They too enjoyed their stay here. The Fairfield Inn will be one of my top places to stay. It has a warm and homey feeling which so many do not.

"The room was clean, quiet, the bed was comfortable, and everything I used in the bathroom worked well. The swimming pool area was open but not lit when I swam laps in the evening. There was enough light from nearby parking lots so I was fine with that. As part of the hotel there is an Indian restaurant run by the staff. I got some spicy chicken takeout and ate it in my room. It was quite good. I would stay here again."

"Rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, most people don’t like it, for me I’ve grown up going to hotels that smell like it so it just brings back memories. Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, few hairs on the mattresses and the pillows, some on the toilet and the towels too, were burn marks on the bathroom sink from cigarettes, had a bit of black mold on the ceiling. If you’re planning to stay here for a night it is doable but if longer than that, might be worth going to another hotel"
