"Stayed here the night before starting a Nile Cruise. It's an unusual experience-the transfer from the airport eventually puts you in a tuk-tuk to get you there! And we had to take a boat to transfer to our cruise. It feels rustic, but in a good way. Staff very attentive, but not much english speaking. Rooms were simple but comfortable."

"The owner was friendly and helpful. It's an old property, definitely not a 3 star as advertised. The room is missing the basics like kettle and tea bags. The rest is okay."

"The staff is made up of some of the kindest people I have ever met. They truly care about their guests and their comfort. The food is also incredible and I highly recommend staying and eating here. "
"We had a wonderful stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort! The staff were very kind and accommodating — they even allowed us to check out late because our flight was delayed, which we truly appreciated.
The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise overlooking the Nile river. Since the resort is located uphill, we had to take a tuktuk to go up and down to the village. The ride can be a bit bumpy and dusty, which some people might not enjoy, but it didn’t bother us at all and added a touch of adventure to the experience.
Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay."
"This property is located on top of a small hill in Aswan. The river view from the window is amazing. It’s a new resort which has been operated for three years. The facilities are new and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dinner at the pool side. It’s a pleasant memory with my patents. The only thing is that you will have to call a cab if you would like to have meals in Aswan downtown. "
