“Although it’s a beautifully renovated building in the residential part of the old town of Velez-Málaga, the photos are somewhat misleading. Pool is a jacuzzi that is no longer functioning. Ground floor rooms are dark, with no views and portable air conditioning units. There was no wifi in our room—only in the common areas. Parking can be difficult.”

“I was definitely not expecting to be at the Ritz or at the 4 Seasons. I chose this hostel because of the cheap price and the position. But the bare minimum standards were not met at all. For me those are cleanliness and the availability of very little things, especially in the bathroom. The shared room was never cleaned throughout my stay, neither my sheets nor my towel were ever changed in 9 days. At a certain point the shower gel dispenser was empty and I asked to have it refilled, they said ……
