This place was in such disrepair I couldn’t believe it was $100/night. The pool was dry, weeds abound, the room was old and with large spot of “something” in a corner, door security lock was missing, microwave didn’t have the inner turntable plate, AC ran well but looked like it was ready to fall off the wall, window was cracked, towels in the bathroom were different colors, the showers ceiling looked like it was ready to give way, shower was grungy, kings size bed had two small pillows, was told I couldn’t get more pillows cause the person with the only key to the linen room went home sick. I thought I was in an 3rd world location. Our SOP for a “short-travel-home” has always been Super 8 motels by Wyndham. But we will never stay at this one again. We’ll have to see if the other one in Abilene Tx is any better. This one was terrible.
