Excellent location, steps from the beach and a quick walk to groceries, restaurants, bakeries. The house is updated, clean, and comfortable for families. The pictures capture all the rooms and upstairs patio accurately. All amenities were provided, including everything needed for the beach, grilling, and cooking.Overall this is an excellent house for a beach vacation and for spending time around San Diego.

Great for a Girls getaway!

We are a group of women that have been friends since high school. We do trips every few years. We enjoyed our stay in February. Highlights were the location with proximity to good food, great walks on the beach, and the roomy great room and patio for us all to gather and chat.

Great beach location for family

The property is very clean and well-kept. The beach is just steps away, and there is beach gear for convenience. The owners helped me secure easy delivery of baby gear. The second level patio is lovely for sunsets.

Perfect stay at the beach

The house was perfect for us 4, only a few steps to the beach, the car was to big for the garage but we could park in front of the garage inside the red lines. The house has all you need, I wished we could come back.

The Perfect Experience!

I had the opportunity to visit my brother in San Diego with my parents, wife, and other siblings. I can’t say enough how perfect this house was! Less than a minute walk from the beach, tons of amazing restaurants nearby, and the house itself was beautiful! The host was also amazing! Every question we had received a response within seconds! Truly a perfect experience.

There are not enough wonderful things that I can say about our stay! The home is beautiful!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The home is equipped with anything you could need, some beach chairs, sand toys, umbrellas and coolers. The proximity to the beach was so convenient for our family. We had two little ones with us so bathroom breaks while at the beach was so easy. They assisted us with getting into the home a little early as well, which was a last minute request in our end and we were so thankful for the hospitality. We will be back!

Negatives: The umbrella was broken, firepit unable to light, outdoor cushions dirty, no heat working in entire place, fan not working in bedroom near garage, no directions which remotes to work for TV in LR, no directions how to work TV in master with remotes. Positives: The kitchen and family area was clean and like the photos showed,all the amenties needed like coffee maker, etc, bathrooms nice and all soaps provided. I recommend a welcoming letter with all the information how to work everything.

Location is great

We have rented all over Mission and I think this is one of my favorite locations so far. A few houses from the beach and a quick walk to Woody’s or Kono’s for breakfast, etc. The home itself is a good size and the layout is nice. I loved the open kitchen/living area. The master bed was one of the first comfortable beds I’ve ever encountered in all my years of vacationing! That said, the home could use a lot of maintenance. I had planned to use the washer and dryer but after opening it and getting hit with the worst mildew smell ever, we all opted to re-wear clothes and return home with dirty clothes. Something I absolutely loathe. I do feel a bit disappointed, as a clean, working washer and dryer is a must for me. The other thing that really needs to be addressed is the master toilet smell. It reeked of sewage from the second we walked in until the second we left. I’m not sure what the issue was, but it was pretty unbearable to even be in the bathroom area. Unfortunately, those 2 things would prevent me from renting this place again.

3rd party breakdown in communication

The place itself was awesome very clean had all the amenities for the beach one thing lacking it could use full air conditioning the partial AC doesn't do much, the biggest setback for this unit was having to deal with a 3rd party because there was a lot of communication breakdown we didn't get qustions answered right away, Asked to get the ceiling fan in the main living area fixed on Thursday they did not show up till Saturday afternoon and we were Checking out Sunday morning for an example! The owner is completely hands off and basically hides behind the 3rd party when things need to be asked or changed or fixed!

Didn’t want to leave

House was in a perfect location to Pacific beach just a few houses from the boardwalk. Boogie boards and chairs provided along with a few bikes. Garage was a nice touch too.

Wonderful 4th of July Stay

Our family stayed for a week and the house was a perfect location. Conveniently located in the middle of everything. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and steps away from the beach! The house is even better in person. Well decorated and had everything you need. They even had fans in every room. Was surprised to see they had beach chairs, toys, surf boards, towels and beach towels for use. Everyone around us were super friendly. I would definitely recommend this location and would stay again. Parking garage is intended for cars or smaller SUV’s only. Check in and checkout process super easy.
