I recently stayed at Hotel Santa Teresa and was pleasantly surprised by how much it has improved since my last visit years ago. Everything feels clean, renewed, and very well maintained, giving the hotel a fresh and inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The service was excellent—every employee I interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely willing to help with anything I needed. It really made a difference in the overall experience. The location is also a big plus: close to everything, easy to get around, and perfect for enjoying the area without long commutes. Overall, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable and comfortable. It felt like a completely different place from my previous experience in the past, in the best way possible. I definitely recommend it and look forward to returning.

These are the Montezuma waterfalls-- and there are two more above this big one that you can jump off! Only a 20-30 minute hike up to the top. Be sure let a local show you the longer way around to hike to the 2nd and 3rd falls rather than climb up waterfall itself. To find them you just go behind the Mariposario bed and breakfast.
