"My stay was exceptional from beginning to end. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and every detail reflects the care and pride the staff takes in creating a memorable experience. My room was spotless, comfortable, and peaceful, making it easy to relax and enjoy my vacation. The staff truly made this stay special. Everyone I encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The level of hospitality exceeded my expectations and made me feel valued throughout my visit. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wonderful variety of fresh, delicious options each morning. I also enjoyed the pool and other amenities, all of which were clean, well-maintained, and inviting. My only recommendation would be to make the spa menu and room service menu available online before arrival. It would be helpful to browse treatment and dining options in advance to better plan a stay. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and a relaxing getaway. "We loved our stay at Hotel Lomas del Volcan. It felt delightfully secluded from the main strip because of the design of the property. Having a little bungalow set in the woods was very relaxing - it was like being in an Ewok village! The staff was super helpful, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection of fruits. The swim-up bar had an amazing view of the volcano. Getting to other locations was very easy. We did a lot of tours with the hotel, and we were lucky that the tours were not very busy, so we essentially had a naturalist tour guide for our family of four during the volcano trip and hanging bridges tour. We especially liked the caving tour."

Arenal Manoa & Hot Springs Resort

"We had an incredible stay at Arenal Manoa! We stayed in one of the Chato Suites and the view of Arenal volcano from our patio was absolutely incredible. The private pool was super warm and incredibly relaxing after a long day of exploring Fortuna. The springs on property were great for that as well. The staff was helpful and visited our room twice daily for a clean and a turn down service. We always had enough towels for our family of four and even some extra sweets and fruit left by the staff. Couldn’t recommend Arenal Manoa enough!"

"The property and room were very nice, and the staff were great! We especially liked the free breakfast buffet - lots of options. We travel to Costa Rica every year to visit family and stay at a hotel the night before we leave to be near the airport, and we will definitely be staying here again next year. "

Chachagua Rainforest Hotel & Hot Springs

"The hotel is so pretty with beautiful rainforest surrounding it. Even with rain all the time during our stay we found it quite comfortable. My kids loved the hot springs and cold plunge pool. It was quite inside the main road compared to other places but we found the drive quite interesting. We did chocolate tour, hikes and yoga at the hotel. Our only request is wish the hotel changed their breakfast menu everyday. With 5 days of stay we were tired of the same food even though they were very good."
