Poorly managed motel.

We have had many good experiences with small hotels, but this was not one of them. All rooms front to a noisy, congested, asphalt parking lot. The AC unit could not cool the room, but rattled and moaned so loudly that we turned it off in the middle of the first night and opened the windows, which remained open for the entire stay. Breakfast each morning included scrambled eggs with brussel sprouts, sometimes also with broccoli, and bacon that was sometimes charred black. The choices for breads dwindled each day until there were two days with nothing but baskets of bagels, but no cream cheese. Guests began to bring in their own food. Pillows were as hard as an adobe brick, a pillow case had a six inch tear down the middle, a bath towel had a fist-sized hole, two windows had no screens and the TV remote did not work to control either power or volume. Requests to the management to rectify problems were dismissed and went unresolved. Fortunately, we spent little time in the room and found a local bakery to purchase items and bring to breakfast.

We are so very disappointed that you felt your stay warranted such a low rating. It is unfortunate that your trip here was around the time we upgraded our high definition TV's that left us with several issues and also our A/C service appointment that was cancelled. Pillows, towels and linens are an easy fix if we know about your dissatisfaction. Our laundry is sent out daily but we always have backstock available. We also offer specialty items available and cooked to order during breakfast hours.
We work very hard to make our guests happy & apologize that you were so very unhappy with your stay.
