The highlight is the bar! I would go to the hotel just for the bar if I wasn't staying here. The location was good, you had to drive to most things but it would take less than 10 minutes. Parking was easy. One thing I didn't love is that you have to request house keeping which kind of makes you feel like a burden. The phone in our room didn't work so I couldn't contact the front desk that way, and when I called from my cell phone it took 4 calls to final get a person on the phone and I called around 9-10am. I forgot to do it on one of the days as we were out all day, so it was a bummer when we came back a realized that we forgot. It has the feel of a great old motor court motel with a splash of great youthful energy in the hip lounge. Rooms are basic yet well appointed, clean and furnished with comfy beds. Service is good. The common area is pretty good tho, and the vibe is nice. It’s actually a motel with Mexican decors, just okay to experience but not good to live there for long. It was nice and quiet and clean. You can tell they take great pride in the property. The young staff we interacted with were incredibly nice and professional. The food from the food truck was great. Our visit was in November, I'd love to come back in the summer when the trees are green and plants in bloom, I bet it's beautiful!
