"Our family of 5 came to Erin’s cabin for a few days over spring break. Our 3 kids, ages 8-11, loved the cabin, exploring the hiking trails throughout the property, and watching the wildlife in the area. The attention to detail was incredible - plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and all of the essentials needed when staying in a remote location. "This is a beautiful property secluded in the foothills outside Rowe. Very quiet, remote area. Great opportunity away from city lights to see the stars! Food highlights nearby in Pecos include dining in at Frankies and takeout from Panchos."

"I have stayed in log cabins before, real log cabins not prefab stuff so I know what a pain they can be maintenance wise. the logs twist and turn, its just what happens. we had more than a few drafts, but the heaters kept us warm. everyone slept well in the beds. the pond behind this place is an awesome sight in morning. it had a bunch of Canadian geese and ducks on it every morning. I took my kids and my grand kids skiing at Sipapu, they had a blast. drove up to Eagle nest in a pretty good snow...

"We are familiar with the area as we have been coming to Eagle Nest and Idlewild since I was a child. We were excited to find such a great place in Eagle Nest. A perfect spot to see the July 4th parade line up and got to watch the fireworks from the front lawn. Hope to rent the place again."
