Having worked in high end hospitality management for over a decade, I understand the pressure during busy periods, however that shouldn’t detract from the customers experience.
Service is what makes or breaks a hotel. Sadly the service here lacked massively. Apart from the staff members mentioned.
What I find even more shocking is the replies to critical feedback from the Hotel’s Director General. Defensive and threatening rather than taking feedback onboard to improve services. This is NOT what the Hilton brand would expect
The housekeeping staff were always smiley and pleasant.
The staff at breakfast just aren’t attentive. Again, no service with a smile. The exception to this was a lady called Elletra who was great every time we saw her! Thank you.
I had some dealings with customer service to arrange a cake and flowers for my wife’s birthday. Guilia was very helpful. Thank you.
Check out was the same as check in. The staff member didn’t smile once, didn’t even make eye contact with us. Again, not what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.
Enrico was always pleasant.
