My fiancé and I have been talking about going back with our 3 boys to Madeira and stay in this hotel again! It was a perfect location, very clean, friendly staff, and the breakfast buffet as well as the dinner buffet was amazing! We had a great time and wonderful experience in Madeira. We definitely go back and stay there again! Madeira is a paradise island!

The hotel is in a good location, but the rooms are noisy at night. By 2:00 a.m., street noise and traffic can be heard . There is no on-site parking, so guests must use street parking and renew it by 8:00 a.m. ( free from 8 pm to 8am). Some rooms are below ground level (labelled Level 1, when in reality is -1). On a positive note, the reception staff is efficient and responsive. We were not initially given the room type we had booked, but the issue was resolved and we were moved to the correct room on the second night. Housekeeping could also be improved, particularly the bathroom cleaning. The Wi‑Fi was also frequently disconnected. We paid CAD 327 per night during the August high season, and at that price the hotel feels overpriced, especially since neither breakfast, nor parking is included. Overall, the value for money is disappointing.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel - quiet peaceful setting in beautiful gardens. Would definitely return.
