“A nice stay on Madeira. Everything was fine with our stay, very cute cottage. Few things. It was extremely humid, and had a very strong smell. We ran the two dehumidifiers constantly, but there could have been ones in the bedrooms to help with the smell more. There was a cockroach in the one bedroom upstairs, and an old car in the driveway that made getting in/out more difficult on a blind road. Overall just little issues.”

“Location Location Location, right at the heart of Funchal, by the market, old town, shopping, harbour and transport links, perfect. Great communication with the staff through what's app, helped print boarding passes and booked taxi's and restaurant with them. Swimming pool and bar on the roof with amazing views and great live music. “Maybe our fault but when traveling afar things need to be absolutely transparent, clear and easy. We arrived at location (paid to get there) only to be dropped off and find out had to walk 1/2 mile to another building just to get a code to get in building. Get to alternate location only to find out there are more fees/taxes to pay - all fees should be posted when booking a location. Otherwise just know there is some street noise but good location, clean and safe. ”
