“The room was spacious and faced west, so wonderfully cool in the morning. Staff were lovely and helped us a lot with our dismal ability to speak Spanish. Everything well maintained and the one small problem we had was quickly dealt with. Breakfast was good with fresh squeezed oranges & excellent coffee.we had a couple of evening meals which were fine- and always enjoyed a nightcap wherever we might have been. Location perfect for busses to Santander, plus a handy supermarket. Being located at……

“This is a fantastic little B&B. The lady running the place was ever so friendly, helpful and patient with our efforts to communicate in Spanish. Each room has its own private entrance, so you feel like you have your privacy. Although there's no air conditioning, you can manage the summer temperatures somewhat by keeping the shutters down and the windows cracked open. The "lavender room" we stayed in had heart-shaped rugs and pillows, and even a heart-shaped bath. It was great! Breakfast……

“Hotel is in a very picturesque location, breakfast and the gentleman serving it are great. Beautiful old building with nice garden and patio areas. Hot tub appeared to be out of action / no longer there, but didnt impact our stay. Room on top floor was a little hot on one day, but leaving windows open at night provided enough ventilation. Great for the price! Thank you!”

“The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel. Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues. The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this. The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day.”

“我訂了海景房間，景色很好，窗戶很大，房間亦很大，位置亦很好！可惜的是房間的空調是壞的，晚上睡覺覺得有點熱，幸好是五月，如果是夏天沒有空調的話，我不敢想像！另外廁所沒有抽氣系統，感覺味道有點糟糕！還有床架非常老舊，每次晚上睡覺轉身的時候感覺那個床架快要散了，亦發出非常嘈吵的聲音！”

“Unser Zimmer (103) war relativ muffig. Insgesamt haben die Zimmer schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Was das Hotel zu einem Art Hotel macht, ist uns nicht klar geworden. Ein paar Bilder im Treppenhaus und eine Lichtinstallation im Foyer reichen dafür nicht. Uns wurde freundlicherweise ein Frühstück kostenlos angeboten, obwohl wir es nicht gebucht hatten. Wir waren aber nicht überzeugt.”
