"Wonderful two week stay at the Drake Inn while volunteering on the island. It is right across the street from a beautiful, quiet, and pristine section of the beach and steps away from the entrance to the trail to the Wall of Tears, and close to a variety of places to eat, shop, and hang (Pink Iguana bar!). Our rooms (the superior twin and double) were clean and nice with comfortable beds, fridges, and places to store our clothes. The hot water situation was decent (better than most places), the breakfast was simple but good, and the roof deck was hardly used by anyone else and was lovely (amazing views and a sun-heated jacuzzi). My one note is we could never figure out how to turn the AC off of auto and it would go on and off a lot in the early hours of the morning, which woke us up. Ear plugs helped."
