I stayed at this hotell for two weeks. The emenities were feasable.My hotel door had closing problems {twice), a chair broke on me while sitting, they did'nt supply any tioletries. What was one of the most disturbing things about my stay was the front desk perrsonel....Ms. Diana. I believe in good customer service, and she lacks the grace and style to be the first face you see entering the hotel. She had a displeasing, non-welcoming attitude, and would not change it even on hints about it. The other personnel were fantastic, and welcoming. The breakfast was fair, air conditioning was great.

For the first time ever in my travels a hotel refused to hold my suitcase for the one day I went to an island between stays at the same hotel. This was incredibly challenging as waiting to store my luggage I almost missed the boat and on morro de Sao paolo there are no cars. Had to wait 2 hours for assistance to carry my suitcase. Honestly Expedia should let them know this is unacceptable to do to a guest. I travel all the time and plan a day with our luggage here or there. Never even in a 1 star hotel has this happened to me. Also they are in the pre computer age at reception. Nice view from room but warn travelers they do not provide this standard service. Martin Keltz

The big win for this hotel is the location, in the heart of the historic district. It's incredibly easy to get around on foot to many of the top visitor sights and sites as well as some great restaurants across different price points. It's also excellent value and the staff are really great and incredibly helpful and pro-active.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful lobby and restaurant as well as rooftop bar and pool. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants and museums. Would go back!
