Resort Pool and Sunset Views: 2BR in Playa del Coco

Wake up, grab coffee on the balcony, watch the sailboats drift across the bay. This bright 2-bedroom hideaway sits on a breezy Playa del Coco hillside with a resort-style pool and the beach a 5-minute walk away. Inside: a full kitchen, comfy living room, a king bed plus a bunk room, two full baths and washer/dryer in the condo. Grab the boogie boards and skim board, fire up the grill, and chase sunsets that turn the sky pink. The beach is close, the pace is slow, and you will not want to leave.

The condo sits on a hillside above the bay, so the balcony gets the breeze and the sunset every evening. It sleeps six across two bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed, which kids tend to claim immediately. Both bathrooms are full baths with hot water, and there are room-darkening shades throughout for anyone who wants to sleep past sunrise.

The kitchen is fully equipped and set up for real cooking, not just reheating: stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, rice maker, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and a proper set of dishes, cookware and wine glasses. There is a dining table indoors and an outdoor dining area on the balcony.

A washer and dryer are in the unit, so you can pack light and rinse the salt out of everything.

Outside your door is the resort-style pool with sun loungers, and a gas BBQ grill with utensils for the evenings you would rather stay in. We leave boogie boards and a skim board for you to take down to the water.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout, fast wifi plus a wired ethernet connection, a dedicated workspace if you need to check in with the office, a safe for your passports, and free parking on the property.

Check-in is self check-in by lockbox, so you can arrive on your own schedule. We send the code and directions before you travel.

Costa Rica runs on 110v with US-style plugs, so US devices work without an adapter.

The roads in Coco are a mix of paved and gravel. A regular car is fine to reach the condo.
