The hotel was well kept up with chips, salsa from 3pm - 10pm and fresh fruit and juice available 24 hours. Front desk evening and morning staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful log cabin feel. Lovely breakfast items, especially tea and coffee extras. Excellent customer service. Hope to stay again.

Interesting collection of decoration. Nice yard to wander in. Very attentive hostess. Very sweet house cats. Lots of food.

Wish they had a pool. WiFi could be better for getting onto with game systems

Stopped on trip to Ontario fishing. Clean and warm; just what was needed.

I stayed here with my son and my husband, and we LOVED this place. Our room was really spacious: Two queen beds (which looked more like doubles, but who cares) and a separate L-shaped couch (which I assume had a sofa bed as well). You could definitely sleep a family of six in this room. The three of us had plenty of room to spread out. Our room was on the second floor and we had a balcony that had a view of Hayward Lake and a grove of birch trees. It was beautiful. We've stayed other places in...

If for some reason you need to stay in Hayward, Wisconsin, stay here. Don't go to the Super 8, the Motel 6, none of that crap. Stay at the local joint, owned by a local. Clean place to stay, and quiet enough. Owner loves fishing, especially Muskellunge fishing. He told us he would take us out fishing the next day, but then cancelled on us. Don't let that deter you from booking a night at the motel, however. It's a pretty good establishment.
