The motel is showing its age but the bed was comfortable, the fridge worked and we slept well. More or better lighting would be nice.

This is a budget motel that we booked based on cost alone. The room was clean overall, but the linens, furniture, flooring and bathrooms are very worn and outdated. Upholstery did not feel clean. Service was pleasant once able to locate staff who were not at the office for check-in. Convenient location for long haul Travellers.

Very dated (60s/70s style with wood paneling and single-pane slider windows) and desperately needs TLC. Old is fine if it's clean and cared for, but this motel was neither. I was traveling alone and needed a cheap place to crash, but I was deeply disappointed and would not stay here again or recommend it. Misleading details and satety concerns: • No A/C: The listing states there is air conditioning, but there was only a fan. • Unprofessional Staff: The front desk clerk appeared to be under the influence, and there was a heavy marijuana smell coming from the office and the room next door where staff were staying. The high Expedia rating was definitely misleading on this one.

The price was very good. Disliked peeling paint in bathroom ceiling and really disliked rust on heaters. Liked:place was clean! #1 ...really good. Beds surprisingly good. Nice chairs outside of room. Air Conditioner excellent. I do not mind that the rooms have not been updated since the 60's when they are clean... Good value!

It is in a charming little town of Schreiber. Check out the Railway museum if you can. Also I stayed in room 2 and it had the strongest water pressure that I have ever experienced.
