The room suffers from excessive noise (sounding like a wind turbine or extractor fan) and makes sleep difficult if not, as in our case, impossible. Also, from the room, there is no ‘spectacular harbour view’ only a view of the sea over the beer garden. Hopefully the noise issue can be resolved. Unfortunately, the room experience was very disappointing. Our room (39) was cramped, with stuffy air and no real comfort. Instead of the second double/sofa bed described, we were given a bunk bed – not at all what we expected, and a very unpleasant surprise. To make things worse, the room was at street level, looking out directly onto an unattractive parking lot and intersection, rather than the sea view we had hoped for. For the price and reputation, I expected much more.
