Welcome to Berry Nice Beach House, located in Seal Rock! This three story ocean view home is perfect for you and five guests with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. With a personal deck on the second floor, you and your guests can enjoy an Oregon coast sunset or some outdoor dining with the patio table and chairs.

Head up the stairs and get acquainted with your new home away from home! Step inside, and you'll find yourself in the living and dining area of Berry Nice Beach House! With large, picturesque windows of the ocean view, you won't mind being indoors on those rainy Oregon coast days, watching the waves crash against the shoreline. There's plenty of seating in the front room, on the comfy blue couch. Pop a movie into the DVD player, and relax with your friends and family before heading off to sleep.

Head on over to the kitchen area, where you'll find another small table for eating at, right next to the patio doors. It's a great place to enjoy your coffee from in the morning. The fully functional kitchen comes with everything you could possibly need while staying at Berry Nice Beach House. If you're into baking, the double oven will allow you to bake to your hearts desire. It's also perfect for cooking Thanksgiving dinners! Check out the large porthole like window above the sink with a gorgeous ocean view! Washing the dishes never seemed so glamorous!

Head upstairs, and you'll find four bedrooms and a baby's area. This baby nook is perfect for parents with newborns and young children who still sleep in cribs! You'll also find a children's bedroom, complete with a twin and queen size bed. Another bedroom comes complete with a queen size bed and an amazing ocean view. The third bedroom is the primary, and comes complete with its own bathroom, a TV, a desk, a dresser, and plenty of books to read if you feel so inclined! The bathroom found in the primary comes with a garden tub, a walk in shower, and plenty of counter space. The final bedroom is a bit cozier, with a daybed, armoire, and a desk.

Head downstairs and you'll find the converted den space, complete with a pool table, couch, and TV. This area is perfect for the kids to chill out on their own and relax in when the weather impedes on your plans. There is a washer and dryer in this home, so there is no need to pack heavy. You'll also have access to a grill and crab traps located in the garage.

Overpriced and Dirty
When we arrived we noticed that there were no sheets of blankets on one of the beds. We searched the home for more sheets but we were unable to find them and had to take sheets off of the upstairs bed. There was a half empty beer can on the table in the pool room. There were large rodent droppings in the garage area. Deck was very small and did not allow you to sit out and view the ocean. There was NO beach access. The kitchen was crawling with ants!

This is a beautiful property in a great location. It is reasonably priced being it is south of Newport. We loved the space, although it does smell a bit musty. Downstairs it is the strongest in the master and rooms adjacent. The deck off of the kitchen is very enjoyable. We wanted to use the grill, but it had a sign on it that said out of order. The property manager would not fix it.

My family and I stayed here over a long weekend. It was very nice. Lots of stairs though that I wasn't prepared for, but it had a lot of stuff in order for us to have fun as a family and had a very close access to the beach, although the pass is very steep.

Very nice
House was clean and living room furniture was actually newer and nicer than what was pictured. My kids enjoyed the toys and VHS tapes. One downside was that the room on the top floor has an indoor window looking into the kitchen, which was a little challenging at kid bedtime. It’s possible that the posting makes that clear and we didn’t read throughly- I haven’t gone back to check. We had a great time anyway.

Has potential but needs a fair bit of love
The property worked out ok for our group (5 adults, 2 kids) but it was not without its discomforts. That said it was reasonable value compared to alternatives in the area, but we did then go on to another property in Bend for about the same money that was immaculate, which rather put things in perspective. Pros: - kitchen/living area on main floor is really nice, good view, clean and comfortable - Bedroom on main area and large bedroom downstairs are good and clean - Upstairs rooms also clean and nice enough (kids did not report problems with the uncomfortable bed that others have mentioned, but they are not that sensitive to such things..) but do open directly into the kitchen/lounge area with no door, so you need to be quite downstairs if you want the kids to sleep. - location is functional: nice walks down to lovely beach, short drives to lots of great things, but the immediate neighborhood is purely residential, no shops etc (but we knew that when we booked it) - parking for 2 cars no problem, could easily fit another Cons: - the downstairs bedroom next to the garage smells flat-out bad, it was not pleasant sleeping in there and the furniture is a bit of a jumble of old stuff including the bed which was not good - other downstairs areas also pretty damp, musty and rough at the edges - kitchen not very well stocked - The photos of the property are from somewhat happier days and the exterior in particular seems more run-down now.

Great Location!
Need to download directions before you get there, due to lack of road internet; the neighborhood is great, trail/stairs to beach down to road to left, clearly marked. Younger family members did psycho path, lots of climbing. Cons - Upstairs bedroom with twin and queen bed a problem since larger bed is so worn out it is not usable. Smaller room upstairs with crib would be nice if it had a twin bed to make it a usable bedroom. Downstairs bedroom next to garage is musty smelling, could bother some folks. Ovens could use a good cleaning, racks had been baked on directly and still had food stuck to them. And kitchen could use a tea kettle. Not being able to use fireplace was kinda weird. And more blankets would be nice. Not enough hot water heater capacity to fill Jetted tub in downstairs large bedroom. Pros - House is huge, lots of space for family of 6 to use, kids loved all the levels to play hide and seek, tv had lots of streaming access, internet works great, lots of games, room to park 3 vehicles easily. All and all, I would consider staying here again with my family, I would make sure to take certain things into consideration for our family’s comfort.

There were only two wash cloths for the entire house! The BBQ doesn’t work and the front left element on the stove doesn’t work properly. Thank goodness in the email I received it had the WiFi password, because the paper on the wall does not have the correct password! And the Wi-Fi was iffy at best. There were a ton of light bulbs out in the house and cob webs everywhere! We really had to search for garbage bags for the kitchen too!!

Perfect for three generations
The Berry Nice Beach House was great for our multigenerational group. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The view of the ocean was nice. The crab cooker and barbeque in the garage were a nice bonus. The so called psycho path to the beach was really not bad. My 85 year old mother had no problems. We used it to go down and then walked down the beach and used the stairs to come back up. Overall suited us well and would definitely stay here again.

Berry Nice Beach House Stay
My family and I stayed for a week. While there is no direct beach access, it is only a 5-minute drive to great beaches and tide pools. The location in Seal Rock is perfect for access to Newport to the North and Waldport to the South. The house is roomy and comfortable and the kitchen sports a double oven, which came in handy. The pool table was an added attraction, especially for the kids.

Adequate place, still needs some fine tuning
This house is located on top of a bluff overlooking Beaver Creek and Ona Beach which is a great spot along the Oregon Coast. There is a trail down to the beach at the end of the road which a local has named "Psycho Path". The path is pretty steep in spots and a bit overgrown, not a big deal for those of us ages 7-50, but more difficult if you were trying to carry large items, a child, or for people with mobility issues. The neighborhood surrounding the house is a patchwork of well maintained homes and places with construction, lots of cars, and run down lots. The interior of the house is divided into 4 floors--the basement has a pool table and smells very mildewy, the downstairs has two rooms--one is super nice with its own bathroom (though no door, even to close off the toilet area) and the other is a bedroom you have to walk through to get into the garage and smells mildewy (though my daughter claimed it and was fine). The main floor with the kitchen and living room is very comfortable, new carpet, sunny kitchen, large dining table (enough for 8 people), and one nice bedroom with a full or queen. Upstairs there is one bedroom and an open play room sort of space with a crib. Unfortunately both the bedroom and the play area have windows which look down into the kitchen and living area, respectively, so they are not super quiet if people have different sleep schedules. In addition, the room upstairs has a double and a twin and the double bed is atrocious. It should be replaced. The kitchen was very functional--enough pots and pans, cooking utensils, silverware and flatware. The appliances all work well and are clean. The dishwasher is smaller than average, though so, if you have a large group you will likely run it after each meal. Unfortunately the hosts did not provide enough dw detergent to meet these needs (though we requested) so we bought some. Other things to note: There is a grill in the garage as well as crab pots and crab cooker (in description, but not included in "amenities"). The grill worked great. The hosts brought a brand new bottle of fuel over as well. The parking area for 2 cars was completely fine, probably even 3 cars would fit. We used the TV in the living room once and it worked well. The house is heated with wall unit space heaters which worked well. House interior is mostly well lit, but a few bulbs were burned out. One of the more affordable places to stay for large group, just needs some fine tuning

Ten Minutes from Newport with View
We were in town for sports in Newport. This home was more for the money than what we could find available in Newport and only ten minutes away. The home is also bigger than expected with an interesting layout. When hanging out at the house we were able to sit and watch the ocean from the living room. The kids liked the man cave with pool table.
