Great time and perfect for all our needs.

Everything about the hotel was great except the sleep. I planned this trip several months in advance for my wife’s birthday and compared to other hotels in the area, this was one of the most expensive at over $500/night which I thought would be a good splurge. Come to find out, there are sea lions living under the hotel that literally bark all day and all night long…. Dozens of them. Neither one of us was able to sleep for more than an hour or so intermittently each night. It was horrible to say the least. Beyond that, it was a great place..

Our stay was perfect. But, we had immense difficulties with the reservation provider that is on the hotel's website. It is apparently a third party provider that then places your reservation with another provider. They did not fully disclose their fee or that the reservation was not refundable and was prepaid. When I tried to contact them, their email account was not responsive. When I called, I was in a loop that kept wanting to send me a confirmation. I reached out to the hotel general manager who helped and concurrently disputed the charge with my credit card. I think it is now resolved.

Our room was very dirty, the fridge was filty and carpet was not vaccumned. The bar or the resturant, their food was not great. FAmily amananies were great. Save yourslef a headache please don't stay here, its very unkept building and front staff is extremly rude.
