"Pros: The propertiy it's self was very beautiful, having a view of the bridge and water from our room made it almost magical. The help served with smiles and polietness. Our room was grand, in keeping with the period of time it represented. We ate in your resturant mulitple times and the food was always flavorful. Cons: We were dismayed at having to pay extra for hotel parking. I expected the Lobby to be somewhat grander looking, a couple of large vases with fresh flowers, an offering of a small glass of Champane etc. Very disappoined in the quality of the toilet paper/ tissues. Toilet updated to high rise for us Senior Citizens would have been grand! Overall, still pleased. Would recomend. Thank you. "

"The owner of the property cares what people think, and always asks us how our stay is going. Love the historic photos of days gone by of White Bear Lake area throughout the hotel. Great breakfast. Appreciate the coffee available 24hr and the fresh fruit in the lobby. My 9 yr old son also enjoys the indoor pool, and thinks this is "the best hotel in Minnesota!" "
