“We were blown away by our stay at this Alexandria property - our goal was to find a place to enjoy a weekend with our wedding party. We found this property and were excited to have a place to gather. With all VRBOs you never know what to totally expect, however, when we arrived our expectations were blown out of the water. “Lovely remote lodge in beautiful area. The room is small, but well appointed. You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. They are last on the trail except a campground, so once you’re here, you’ll need to have everything. I came thinking I might get to see the Milky Way since it’s so remote, but there……
