Location is great right in the middle of almost all the attractions of the city's center. Staff was very helpful during our stay, breakfast option was good as well. We had a great time in Shanghai and I think the location of it helped a lot, there is a metro within a couple of minutes of walking!

The Conrad Shanghai was a great property to stay as a first time traveler to China specifically to Shanghai. It was central to everything, restaurants, shopping, and transportation. It is like staying in Times Square in NYC, but it was best for myself amd wife. There are other hotels not far from Nanjing Road but I didn't know the distance from there and the Bund. Again I would suggest thay yu as first time traveler stay the Conrad. Also the breakfast at Lane 11 was excellent.

Hotel is fine, room had a wonderful view, location was very convenient as well. The hotel rooms are old. Which might look like the marble in the bathroom is kind of moldy, worn off. Rooms are small too, not a convenient layout. Other than that the stay was great. Staff is exceptional.

Unbeatable location, helpful staff, beautiful views to the city and a superb breakfast buffet. The only issue, which became quite a challenge, was that the currency exchange machine was not working. This was actually one of the reasons we chose the hotel, as we were counting on being able to exchange money there. I understand that things can happen, but it would have been helpful to have another option available when the machine was not working. I guess it would be best to arrive with some local currency or exchange money at the airport, as U.S. dollars are not accepted.

Conrad Shanghai deserves 5 stars! We arrived in Shanghai very early, and although our room wasn't ready yet, Rick was incredibly helpful checking us in and storing our luggage so we could start our day early. When we returned in the afternoon, Ivy assisted us with the room check in and Thena helped retrieve our luggage. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was central, right in the middle of Nanjing Road, so it couldn't have been more convenient. The breakfast buffet was very impressive, and the room was clean and beautifully appointed. We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

I had a fantastic stay at the Conrad. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I want to specifically thank Kelly in the Executive Lounge, her customer service was spectacular and she was very professional and hard working. Liangjuan in the spa was also great and gave a great massage.
