Awesome getaway!
Awesome cabin, all the comforts of home while getting away from the city. We especially loved getting to use the row boat and canoe out on the lake, and fishing all weekend long!

Tranquil, pup friendly retreat
Our stay at the cabin was everything we were looking for and more. The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic and comfort. Its large windows offer great views of the lake and birds, with plenty of comfy seats for everyone. The yard is fenced and was great for our dog to run and sniff around. With a great deck and picnic table, we wanted to stay outside even though it wasn't too warm yet. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

What a Heavenly Little Place on the lake!
My husband and I were so impressed. We plan to come here on a regular basis with the rest of our family. Can't wait for the summer experience! The house is lovely ! The grounds were beautifully kept and it is winter. WE were close to so many wonderful hiking trails. You accept pets. What a hidden GEM!!

Nice Getaway
The Lillipad is even more beautiful in person than the pictures show. We arrived to a welcoming note and a bottle of wine from the owners. In the morning, our kids, who’d been sleeping in the loft, woke us up to alert us to the beautiful sight of the sunrise over the water through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Great way to start the day. Even though it was cold (in the 30s and 40s!), we bundled up and enjoyed an afternoon of hiking a nice nearby trail. It had rained for a couple of days prior to our stay, making the outside firepit unusable and throwing a wrench in our plans for making s’mores in the “wilderness” as the kids had wanted to do, but we enjoyed making s’mores in the indoor fireplace. The trails were beautiful to hike and we even took the rowboat out for a spin despite the cold. I would recommend the Lillipad for a nice, family-friendly getaway, and we hope to return in the future!

Rustic retreat
We had a wonderful winter stay in this cabin by the lake. We hiked in the snow, walked on the ice and played cards and board games in front of the fire. The following is not a knock on the property but included here for people considering staying here so that they know what to expect. The AT&T cell service was a little spotty in this area and the internet service in the cabin is not what you have at home. The well water at the cabin is a little sulphur smelling and we were glad we brought water with us. Also the cabin has a limited septic system and we limited the number of flushes/showers. The heating system is made up of individual baseboard units and it was a job to get all the heat going in the right places. It really is a nice place and we would love to go there in the summer.
