We were only there long enough to sleep. I always wanted to check it out sometime, so we did! Breakfast wasn't as many choices as what reviews made it sound, so we took our granddaughter where they had more warm breakfast choices. I took a quick peak for telling the family what was available where choices were Coffee, juices, milk, probably tea, prepackaged danishes, probably cereal and waffles you can makes. It's a small eating area, so I quickly tried to see choices....there may have been more warm fresh foods???? I enjoyed the quick stay.

I highly recommend this for a family with younger kids so you can maximize use of the amenities. The pool is under Construction so we had no use of any of the water features and that’s OK for us, but it was an impact to the property. There’s ongoing construction, but I’m sure it will be better when it’s over in our room and the activity center itself were both better than expected. I would stay here again and recommend it for travelers.

If the temperature is too warm they close the indoor pool (mid 80s). The outdoor pool by our building was pretty small which wasnt a big deal when only a few families were there. It filled up quick as well as the larger outdoor pool we had to drive to. We also thought laundry was in the unit (it is just on the property. I knew going in we may have to decline the timeshare sales people but you go from the check in people to the timeshare "watch our presentation" people to get your keys coded. After several no thank yous and were not interested we were able to go on our way. Beds were comfortable, outside space was nice, and unit was well furnished.

Beautiful view. I did not like the extra fee for parking. That's understandable in areas with limited space and multiple modes of public transport but that was not the environment here.

The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
