“What a beautiful experience we had at the ryokan. A perfect setting overlooking the lake, quiet, no noise from the town below. The staff was very kind and courteous, always helpful in assisting us with our questions. We learned about Japanese culture and had a wonderful experience; definitely get the dinner, it was worth it. “Es un ryokan muy cómodo. cerca del centro pero en un lugar con muy tranquilo. se puede llegar caminando al centro sin problema. El onsen está muy limpio. las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas (para el estándar japonés). El personal, si no tienes ningún problema, son muy amables, pero nosotros tuvimos un problema en la reserva. “El edificio parece antiguo, sin embargo la habitación excelente, mucho espacio, todo bien acondicionado, muy cerca de la estación de Kioto, fue una experiencia excelente dormir al estilo japonés en Tatami, todo muy bien. No pudimos disfrutar el desayuno por temas de horario pero creo que hubiera sido muy buena opción también. ”

“We had a great time! Beautiful room with great amenities! Onsen in balcony was the best thing. Room service was on point and all the staff were very attentive and very very nice! On the way back home on a rainy day one of the female staff kindly came outside and helped me carry suit case in taxi. She kindly told me to get in the car first because it’s raining and she said she will take care of suit case. I am very pleased with this Omotenashi service and I have so much respect and appreciation....

“The staff was very friendly, and the food presentation was good. However, we were disappointed that the mist sauna didn’t work, and there was no cold pool available; all the pools were very hot, making it difficult to cool off. The menu is entirely Japanese with no substitutions or accommodations for dietary restrictions, and while tea is available, there is no coffee. Also, because of the remote location, the lack of nearby restaurants or convenience stores made me feel somewhat trapped....

"The hotel was 10/10\. The entrance is easy to access by elevator and the location is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby, a Seven-Eleven just steps away, and the metro station is very close, making it easy to get around the city. The reception staff were very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage hours before check-in. The rooms are spacious (ours was for three people and everyone had their own bed). The bathroom is separated from the bathtub/shower, which is very convenient, and the hotel provides many amenities such as toothbrushes, slippers, towels, sleepwear robes, and a hair dryer. Each floor also has an ice machine and a microwave, which I especially appreciated because I injured my foot during the trip and needed ice every night. The hotel is comfortable and quiet, and it also offers room service or several restaurants one floor below the reception with discount coupons. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Kyoto."
