I love the old roadside motor hotels. They have history and personality. This is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It's family owned. The room was very clean the bed was very comfortable. The whole place was clean and well kept. Subie was a perfect host. Helpful and friendly. I grew up in the white mountains. Haven't been back in many years . I used this motel as a base for 4 days, to reconnect with family as well as the area. I will definitely stay here again.

Pride of ownership was apparent at this small business. Everything was comfortable and well kept. So much better than those cookie cutter square box motels at the off-ramps of the interstate. Overall a groovy choice in a groovy town.

Clean room and bathroom, which is always welcome (and often uncertain) when visiting these smaller independent motels. Breakfast was a very limited continental breakfast but we supplemented with some of our own food from camping. Hot showers and comfortable bed after a week of camping in the White Mountains made this the perfect way to end our week.

This is an older motel that is well maintained. The furniture and decor are a bit dated but you can tell that from the pics and it wasn't that important to me. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. A very good value if the basics are important to you.

This is an older motel but they do their best to keep it clean and comfortable. If you don't mind the older part, it is a great value. If you don't like older, you probably should stay at one of the more recent motels.

The room was clean and I was able to get a room downstairs because there was no elevator and I find it difficult to climb stairs. The traffic was a little noisy on the street going by the hotel. The breakfast was probably the worst continental breakfast I’ve had in 20+ years of using hotels. The parking was good and the clerk that checked me in was very helpful.
