"Staff were very friendly. It’s a great pub, busy with pleasant customers, the beer is good (but all Timothy Taylor’s…in case you don’t like theirs..) We went out into the town and came back and ate our evening meal in the pub. There’s a fair bit to do in skipton - we were just there overnight. If you like a local pub, the accommodation and staff, and whole set up is just perfect. The rooms are pretty small, but fine if you’re just sleeping and showering…. Highly recommended if you’re a traveler that likes to stay in pubs… "

"Stayed in the cottages for a wedding weekend. Everything was lovely and the location is just fabulous. The food was lovely and the staff all worked really hard and were there morning until night. The cosy lounges were a bit too warm when the fires were roaring but there are other rooms to sit in. Will definitely be back 👍"
