"Views of sheep from conservatory in back (where we spent most of our time) and glorious water views from dining table out front which are not shown in listing but should be! Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. Just a fact on Skye!"

"Saraig is a hidden gem, in a lovely quiet part of the Highlands. The loch views are beyond description. Highly recommend a loch swim if you’re feeling brave (and have a wetsuit!). The house itself is full of character and with every possible home comfort. Plenty of places to visit nearby, easy to get to local amenities, restaurants etc. Top tip: if you can afford to buy a trail camera (around £50), you will capture some amazing footage of the pine martens and badgers in the garden at night!...

"We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"Our family had an amazing stay at Stoirm. The house is modern and beautifully designed with plenty of sunlight and spectacular views of Isle of Skye. There was more than enough space for 4 people, the amenities were complete, all the basic necessities you needed for the stay was provided. We loved that the hosts even provided us with complimentary wine and sweet treats. We always looked forward to coming home at the end of the day after our hikes and sightseeing. "This delightful cottage made the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with it being just 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge. It is situated on the shores of Loch Long and very peaceful without being too isolated. The view from the kitchen and lounge over the loch to mountain beyond alone made this one of my most memorable trips."

"Beautifully designed and decorated, perfect for two. Excellent views of sea loch from front door and easy access to the shore. Conveniently located for exploring Skye and 5 miles from a decent supermarket. Hosts pleasant and friendly but also left us to it. We could happily have stayed longer."
