“Air conditioner didn't work & hotel gave no compensation other than an offer of points towards future stays, tiles were detaching from the shower wall and silicone patch job on another section of tile (i.e. rather than fixing the tile properly), toilet had brown dirt/build up in the bowl, & window didn't lock at all. I'll definitely pay more to stay elsewhere next time. Also, there is no wheelchair access for entering the hotel and there's no elevator.”

“We have stayed at properties bearing the Best Western name many times so we were completely shocked and unprepared for the degraded state of this property. The pictures featured on the Expedia site were completely deceiving. The bedroom carpets were very stained and dirty, linens on one of the beds were clearly dirty, light switches and windows were unclean, and any attempts to improve the appearance of the room were poorly done, not executed by any sort of craftsman. Given that we paid over……

“Room was very clean. Bed was firm. Walls and ceiling are wooden which gives it a fun retro feeling. Room is small and basic. I really like this place for their fresh complementary breakfast.”

“Beautiful views and lovely hosts! Breakfast was delicious and rooms were very comfortable and clean. Lovely and relaxing. Only challenge (not the hosts fault at all!) I hadn’t rented a car so taxi was pricey even though it was only 10 minutes from town. Recommend a car rental in Smithers… it will be cheaper than taking a cab!”
